Dear Vinyl Lovers,
This month marks a year since we started Vinyl Wings, and what a journey it has been! We have been so positively overwhelmed by the excitement, loyalty and trust which our members have placed in us!
This year has also been hugely educational. Thanks to your feedback we have a better understanding of what our members enjoy most about Vinyl Wings and where we must improve our service.
In order to continue to improve our offering to you, we will be implementing the following changes:
1. Premium Vinyl Labels & Updated Pricing Structure
Having worked with a number of different suppliers this year, we would like to focus our offering going forward on the highest quality vinyl manufacturers.
We know the love and care that goes into vinyl and want our customers to have the highest quality listening experience – certainly without any defects or imperfections.
As such, we will increasingly work with premium vinyl labels & manufacturers such as Music on Vinyl, Rhino (Warner Music Group) and Blue Note.
In order to be able to bring this to you, as of 15 April 2021 we will be updating our price structure as follows:
- 1-Month Subscription: £42.50 per month, increase of £2.50
- 3-Month Subscription: £40.50 per month, increase of £1.50
- 6-Month Subscription: £38.50 per month, increase of £0.50
Let us re-assure you that quality and value remain our priority and commitment to you. This price increases will not only allow us to bring you higher quality products, but it will also allow us to improve the packaging and shipping of your valuable records.
2. Tracked Shipping
As of last month, we have upgraded our UK shipping from Royal Mail Second Class to Hermes UK courier service.
You are now able to fully track your beloved monthly box’s journey from Vinyl Wings straight to your doorstep!
3. Improved, Robust Packaging
As of 1 April 2021, we will be upgrading our packaging to double-walled corrugated cardboard mailers.
This will ensure that your precious premium records are packaged safely and will prevent any potential damage caused during the shipping process.
4. Updated Billing Schedule
Our current billing cycle is determined by the date of when a new member joins, with subsequent renewals occurring 30, 90 or 180 days later (depending on their subscription)
After listening to your feedback, we will be updating our billing schedule such that all new members will be billed on the 7th day of the month – this date is also the deadline for the selection of your Records of the Month.
This change will shorten the time gap between a new member’s initial payment and receipt of their first monthly box. Should you wish for your billing schedule to also be updated to the 7th, please let us know via our e-mail.
